Senior Editor Robert Casey is an experienced business journalist, consultant and observer of the financial advisory industry. Among other activities, he currently is senior managing director of research for The Family Wealth Alliance, LLC. Bob developed Bloomberg Wealth Manager magazine and served as founding editor until the publication was sold by Bloomberg LP in 2005.
He began his career in the newspaper business and worked as business editor of the Wilmington News-Journal and the Philadelphia Bulletin. He is a former managing editor of American Banker, founding editor of Your Company magazine (now Fortune Small Business) and the original planning editor/Money for USA Today. Bob is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism of Northwestern University and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a certificate in financial planning from New York University.
