The Advisor Confidence Index rose slightly in January to 102.5, up from 99.31 in December.

The monthly benchmark survey from Rydex SGI gauges the views of 150 independent registered investment advisors over the next 12 months.


While confidence in the markets rose, confidence in the world economy fell, with that component dropping from 104.17 to 100. Several respondents cited the European debt crisis as a likely drag on global economic recovery.
